Oni-con this year was quite awesome. It didn't seem as big as previous years but still most fun. I mainly just wandered around with friends, not really going to any panels or anything. I did go to my first hentai fest, and it was, well... tentacle porn... I did a bit of the rave (which is awesome when you have a Spartan helmet with bright blue LEDs, which I still have to post pics of...) and all around bum-ho-ery.
I cosplayed as Shower Time Master Chief, which was most awesome. The idea came from seeing 3 people with full (Halo) Spartan armor and me only having the helmet, so I justified only having the helmet by wearing just that, a shower cap, and a towel, while carrying around a bar of soap. It was glorious. That was done Friday and Saturday night, on Sunday, I wore some cheap plastic Roman soldier armor. Everyone is stupid, however, and all thought it was (ancient Greek) Spartan armor...
Not much else to say, other than I was so awesome that the people I roomed with (friends of a friend, now my friends) literally said 'the next con we go to together, you're rooming with us.' Which leads me to seriously considering going to Ikkicon in Austin next February.
k, now i think you gotta do a connection test or something (nintendo needs to make this process easier, something like xbox live where you can just type in a name and send a friend request would be nice, none of this code bs >.>
